The EAU department is based on level 4 of the Emergency Care Centre for patients waiting for further tests and observations.

About the service

The EAU department generally see patients admitted after attending A&E or Same Day Emergency Care where further tests and observations are required.

Our Emergency Admissions Unit consists of two wards (Ward 1 and Ward 2) with 48 single occupancy rooms.
